H4F at ESEH 2022
Based on our ongoing blog series on Sustainable Academia in collaboration with the Next Generation Action Team (NEXTGATe) of the European Society for Environmental History, we have organized an online session at this year’s ESEH conference.
Graduate students and early career scholars who are representatives of various environmental history-related groups and organizations will consider some of the individual, collective, and institutional practices that can help make academia more sustainable – in all its facets. We will reflect on the conditions of early-career environmental historians in Europe and beyond, introduce visions for the field, and suggest concrete action in order to build more inclusive and supportive academic environments.
Excited for Jessica DeWitt, Yaël Gagnepain, Elena Kochetkova, Renée Landell, Natascha Otoya, Sarah Qidwai, and Christopher Slaby to share their thoughts and observations in this session moderated by Elizabeth Hameeteman and Isabelle Schürch.
Join us on Wednesday, July 6 at 13:30-15:00 BST!
